Has anyone tried making money on online surveys? Is it a con?

have been looking at sites which claim tat research companies pay you to take surveys on line. Anyone had any experience either positive or negative?

Yes it's true, it does work, however not all of them are promising and you don't necessarily earn money directly, instead you earn points which you can convert into money or gift vouchers.

I am a member of four different sites which really work for me.

One of the sites is called "Valued Opinions". Just sign up "free" to become a member and you'll start receiving surveys which you will earn money for, each survey varies from 1.50-10.00 per survey. After you have collected a certain amount (say $20.00) you can convert it into a voucher. I have converted the money i collected into a voucher three times. I got 2 sanity Gift voucher worth ($20.00 each) and 2 Movie ticket passes (worth $30.00) in my post, not bad for a few minutes of my time spend doing surveys.
So "Valued Opinions" is certainly promising.

The other three sites which are also pretty good are: "Email Cash", where yo earn points which you can convert into money and prizes, "Opinion World" and "Qualified Opinions" where you also earn points, and when you earn enough you can convert it into prizes (prizes do vary in points, the more points the better the prizes).

So check out those that i recommended. and trust me don't bother searching for any other sites because they will probably get you to pay some money in advance so you can join which ends up being a scam, the ones that i mentioned are definitely save, free to join and the best ones. They really worked for me. Check it out for yourself and see what you think.

P.S. Make sure you are patient with the surveys, you will receive them, but not everyday and sometimes you won't qualify for every survey.
